Landon Liboiron

Landon Liboiron (born March 10, 1991) is a successful Canadian actor. He is distinctly recognized for his roles as Declan Coyne in Degrassi: The Next Generation and as Peter Rumancek in Netflix's original series Hemlock Grove. Liboiron was born and raised in a small farming community in Jenner, Alberta. He has two older brothers and from a young age exhibited a strong passion for acting. His mother, an artist herself, strongly supported his ambitions, and took it upon herself to drive him to Vancouver for acting classes and auditions. After completing his high school education, Liboiron relocated to Vancouver to focus full time on his acting career. He gained some initial experience by being cast in TV films but perhaps his most notable early recognition resulted from his role in the Canadian teen drama television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. Liboiron's career spans a number of highly acclaimed performances. In 2011, he portrayed Josh Shannon in the sci-fi television series Terra Nova. In the same year, he also made an appearance in the horror film The Howling: Reborn. His performance as a high school student and Romani werewolf Peter Rumancek alongside Bill Skarsgård and Famke Janssen in Netflix original series Hemlock Grove earned him widespread critical acclaim. He subsequently reprised his role for the second and third seasons. From 2016 till 2019, he was cast as Michael Smyth in Frontier. Additionally, he played Carter / Sam Meehan in the supernatural thriller film Truth or Dare (2018). In 2021, he showcased his talents in the drama film Hands That Bind. Recently, in 2022, Liboiron co-directed and wrote the gothic satire short film Soul of a Man with Bill Skarsgård, featuring Stellan and Gustaf Skarsgård, highlighting his growing range and capabilities in the world of film. The film was inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's short story Bon-Bon. Liboiron's diverse and notable career attests to his talent and dedication to the craft.
