Lars Eidinger

**Lars Eidinger** is a widely recognized German actor and rapper, based in Berlin. He stepped into the world of acting in the year 2002, marking his powerful presence in both German and international productions. His notable performances include his roles in the 2020 film My Little Sister, the German series Babylon Berlin (2017–2022), the 2023 American miniseries All the Light We Cannot See, and the 2024 film Dying. He was born in 1975 or 1976 in Berlin's Marienfelde district to an engineer and a nurse, and has an older brother. A graduate of the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts, Eidinger commenced his career at Deutsches Theater in 1997, later becoming a salaried member of the Schaubühne ensemble in 1999. His theatre career spans several signature roles with a focus on Shakespearean characters such as Hamlet and Richard III. He has performed on stages around the globe from Australia to New York. Alongside the theatre, Eidinger has made a significant mark on screen, appearing in several German TV series and films before gaining international notice. His work in Clouds of Sils Maria opposite Juliette Binoche and Kristen Stewart, and his roles in Tim Burton's Dumbo, and the 2020 Swiss drama, My Little Sister, rank among his many noteworthy performances. Beyond acting, Eidinger is also a musician and DJ, known for his eclectic mixes that fuse genres such as pop, rap, 80s, breakbeat, industrial bass, and techno. Off-stage, eidinger is involved in notable social causes and has signed open letters on important international issues, such as Russo-Ukrainian War.
