Lia Ryan McHugh, born November 18, 2005, is an accomplished American actress known for her work in both the horror and superhero genres. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, into an acting family that includes three older siblings—Flynn, Logan and Shea—and a younger brother, Gavin, who lives with cerebral palsy. Gavin is also a talented actor who plays Christopher Diaz in the hit drama series 9-1-1. Making a name for herself early on, Lia's acting career started in 2016. Over the years, she has executed impeccable performances in projects spanning diverse genres.

Though a majority of Lia's career has been spent appearing in horror projects such as A Haunting, Totem, Along Came the Devil, The Lodge, Into the Dark, and A House on the Bayou. She has challenged her acting portfolio beyond the genre by stepping into the superhero universe. Most notably, she has been the face of Sprite in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Eternals, which released in November 2021.
