Louisa Noel Krause, born on May 20, 1986, is an American actress who began her career in the realm of theater, eventually transitioning to film and television. Her first encounter with acting was during high school, where she performed in various plays and musicals, leading her to pursue drama at Carnegie Mellon University. Post graduation, she made her first foray into acting professionally by earning her Equity card from a summer-stock production of Aida. Louisa has graced the theater scene with commendable performances, notable among which include Iphigenia in 'Iphigenia 2.o' and roles in 'Les Liaisons Dangereuses' and Annie Baker's 'The Flick'. Her film journey kickstarted in 2007 with 'The Speed of Life' and 'The Babysitters'. Gaining more prominence through her role in 'Young Adult', Louisa's performance in the film landed her in the trailer and TV spots. Having a marked presence in the independent cinema, the actress also displayed her talent in films like, 'Martha Marcy May Marlene', 'Return', 'King Kelly', and 'Bluebird'. Not limiting herself to the stage and silver screen, Louisa Krause's work in television includes appearances in 'Law & Order', 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' and 'Blue Bloods'.
