**Marguerite Moreau** is a notable American actress born on April 25, 1977. She established a significant presence in the cinema world notably for her diverse roles in multiple film genres. Moreau's talent isn't limited to movies, as she has made appearances in various television series such as Smallville, Lost, Cupid and The O.C. Her career began as a child actress, where she first gained attention with her role as Connie in the widely recognized Mighty Ducks film series. Moreover, her breakout role was playing a recurring part of Melanie on the popular sitcom Blossom in 1994 and 1995. Precisely, she had her guest appearances in several TV series including famous ones like Boy Meets World and 3rd Rock from the Sun. In addition to acting, Moreau pursued her education earnestly and graduated from Vassar College with a B.A. in Political Science in 1999. Post graduating, she continued her acting career and landed some of her most significant roles. In 2001, Moreau starred as Katie in the comedy Wet Hot American Summer, later reprising the role for its prequel Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (2015) and sequel Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later (2017), which were eight-part series produced by Netflix. Moreau showed her versatility by acting in a fantasy horror film, playing the character of Jesse in Queen of the Damned (2002), adapted from Anne Rice novels. She has also successfully tackled leading roles, one of which was in the TV miniseries Firestarter: Rekindled, succeeding Drew Barrymore in the role of Charlie McGee. Moreover, in 2003's film Runaway Jury, she showcased her talent by playing opposite renowned actor Gene Hackman. Moreau has also made her mark in the independent film scene, as evidenced by her lead role in 2003's Easy, later broadcast on the Showtime cable television network. Her most recent appearance was in a SpectrumTV commercial aired in 2024, co-starring Lauren Lindsey Donzis.
