Masahiro Higashide is a Japanese actor and model, who was born on February 1, 1988 in Saitama, Japan. His career kick-started with his impressive debut as an actor in 'The Kirishima Thing' in 2012. Prior to this, he had already made a mark as a model, having been active on the fashion front from 2006 to 2011. Higashide's filmography is diverse with prominent roles in both television shows and movies such as Renai Kentei, Reset: Honto no Shiawase no Mitsukekata, and Death Note: New Generation. He's known for his performances on the NHK TV program Rakugo Deeper!. His father being a kendo teacher and cook, Higashide himself practiced kendo during his school days.
