Matheus Nachtergaele

Matheus Nachtergaele, born on January 3, 1968, is an eminent Brazilian actor, director, and screenwriter. The São Paulo native has left a significant imprint on the Brazilian film industry. He is best known for his roles in a number of noted films, including the 1997 film 'Four Days in September' and the 2002 movie, 'City of God.' His acting prowess earned him the Best Actor award twice at the Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro. He claimed these awards for his roles in the films 'Midnight (1998)' in 2000 and 'O Auto da Compadecida (2000)' in 2001. In addition to this, he won the Best Actor award for 'Mango Yellow' at XIII Cine Ceará in 2003.
