Maude Annabelle Apatow, born December 15, 1997, is a proficient American actress, notably recognized for her roles in Knocked Up (2007), Funny People (2009), and This Is 40 (2012), where she acted as the daughter of her mother, Leslie Mann’s characters in her father, Judd Apatow's movies. Later, she expanded her career by appearing in Assassination Nation (2018) and The King of Staten Island (2020), and the Netflix miniseries Hollywood (2020). Although she was subjected to the term 'nepo baby,' her talent in the entertainment industry is genuinely undeniable. Apatow began her acting journey at the age of seven, with her debut in her father's comedy film The 40-Year-Old Virgin in 2005. She continued to gain popularity and recognition, leading her to receive nominations for the Phoenix Film Critics Society Award and the Young Artist Award. She continued to make massive strides in her career after 2015 as well, working in Euphoria and other projects. Her talent extends beyond acting, as she made her directorial debut with the short film Don’t Mind Alice in 2017. Moreover, making her New York theatrical debut in 2023. Apatow also co-founded Jewelbox Pictures, a film and television production company, in 2024.
