Melissa Rauch

Melissa Ivy Rauch, born June 23, 1980, is an esteemed American actress and comedian, known for acing complex characters in various popular television series and films. She gained popularity for portraying Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz on the CBS sitcom *The Big Bang Theory*. This role nominated her for the Critics Choice Television Award in 2013 and got her four nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series along with fellow cast members. From 2004 to 2008, Rauch honed her skills as a regular contributor on the VH1 series *Best Week Ever*. Other noticeable roles Rauch played were Tina in the American remake of Kath & Kim and Summer on the HBO fantasy horror drama *True Blood*. Currently, she is playing the pivotal role in NBC's revival of *Night Court*. Besides acting, Rauch has shown competence in writing and producing. She co-wrote, co-produced, and starred in the 2015 sports comedy-drama film *The Bronze*, and contributed her voice to the DC character Harley Quinn in the 2017 animated film *Batman and Harley Quinn*. Elevated roles in *I Love You, Man* (2009), *Ice Age: Collision Course*, *Flock of Dudes* (both 2016), *Ode to Joy*, and *The Laundromat* (both 2019) has helped her become a beloved figure in Hollywood. Being a part of the comic stage show *The Realest Real Housewives* showcased her comedic flair, alongside celebrities like Casey Wilson, June Diane Raphael, Jessica St. Clair, and Danielle Schneider.
