Her career began with a debut in the Australian television drama All Saints in 2004, leading to her first film role in Suburban Mayhem in 2006. She gained widespread recognition for her work on HBO's In Treatment in 2008, earning a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female for That Evening Sun in 2009.
