Michael Austin Cera, known professionally as Michael Cera, is a highly talented Canadian actor, comedian, and musician, with a career spanning numerous award nominations including a British Academy Film Award, three Critics' Choice Movie Awards, four Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a Tony Award. Cera initially made a name for himself through his portrayals in comedic films such as Superbad (2007), Juno (2007), Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008), and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010). He also stepped into more dramatic roles in films like Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002), This Is the End (2013), Molly's Game (2017), and Person to Person (2017). Beyond his career in film, Cera gained further prominence through his role as George Michael Bluth in the Fox sitcom Arrested Development from 2003 to 2006, and again from 2013 to 2019. On stage, Michael Cera is recognized for his Broadway performances in the Kenneth Lonergan plays This Is Our Youth in 2014, Lobby Hero in 2018, and The Waverly Gallery in 2019. Alongside his acting career, Cera is also a musician and released his debut album True That in 2014.
