Michael Gandolfini

Michael Gandolfini, born on May 10, 1999, is a distinguished American actor, famously known as the son of the late actor James Gandolfini. Born and raised in New York City, Michael embarked on his acting career in 2011. His major film debut was through his impressive appearance in Ocean's 8 (2018). Adding another feather to his cap, Gandolfini reprised the role of Tony Soprano in The Many Saints of Newark (2021), a character initially played by his father in the hit television series The Sopranos.

Raised with a blend of Italian, Polish, and Slovak heritage, Gandolfini has been active in his career since he was a teenager, despite his father advising him to pursue sports or directing. After the loss of his father at age 51 to a heart attack, Michael decided to continue down the acting path, enrolling at New York University. His notable roles include his role in the HBO drama series The Deuce as Joey Dwyer, and later, his casting in the Russo brothers' crime drama Cherry. In 2024, he moved further ahead in his career, joining the cast of Warfare, an A24 war movie written and directed by Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza. Off-camera, Gandolfini has maintained sobriety since 2017 and has been in a relationship with fellow actor, Mia Healey, since January 2024.
