Monica Margaret Dolan (born 15 March 1969) is a celebrated English actress, known for her illustrious career across stage and screen. She gained recognition for her role as Rosemary West in Appropriate Adult (2011), for which she won the BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress. Dolan's acting prowess can be seen in various TV shows such as Agatha Christie's Poirot, Dalziel and Pascoe, and the ITV drama U Be Dead. She played noteworthy roles as future Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in Wallis and Edward and British serial killer Rosemary West which received critical acclaim. On stage, Dolan was equally compelling, starring as Loretta in Chalet Lines and twin sisters Meg and Mave Carter in Call the Midwife.
