Nanna Blondell

Nanna Terese Blondell, born on 6 August 1986, is a prolific Swedish actress and film director. She is an alumnus of the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts, and her passion for acting was evident from her childhood despite her initial reservations regarding the scope for a black woman in Sweden's entertainment industry. She embarked on her acting journey with an on-screen debut in the SVT drama series Livet enligt Rosa in 2005. Subsequently, she had stints as a VJ with MTV Sweden before taking on roles in police procedural Beck and soap opera Andra avenyn. Blondell gained international acclaim with her performance in the widely popular sci-fi drama Real Humans. Besides, she appeared in Ø, an English-Language French TV series filmed in Denmark, marking her debut in English language. Blondell's versatile acting skills led her to don multiple roles in diverse productions, including the French feature film Soeurs d'armes and crime drama Hassel. She recently had a coveted role in Marvel's Black Widow and Netflix feature film, Red Dot. Since 2013, Blondell has been associated with the Royal Dramatic Theatre.
