Patrick Warburton

Patrick Warburton is an acclaimed American actor and producer who was born on November 14, 1964. He is best known for his distinctive deep and authoritative voice, allowing him to lend his talent to a variety of roles, both live-action and animated. His notable television roles include David Puddy on Seinfeld, Jeb Denton on Less than Perfect, Jeff Bingham on Rules of Engagement, and the title character on The Tick. He also provided his voice for Joe Swanson in Family Guy, Sheriff Bronson Stone in Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Buzz Lightyear in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and Brock Samson in The Venture Bros. He portrayed Lemony Snicket in the Netflix series A Series of Unfortunate Events, adding to his extensive repertoire. He had a longstanding career in advertising, including a memorable role as a 'control enthusiast' for National Car Rental. Warburton was born in Paterson, New Jersey. His education initially revolved around marine biology at Orange Coast College, but he dropped out to pursue a career in acting and modeling.

Warburton's prolific career started in the 1990s, where he gained recognition for his recurring role in Seinfeld as David Puddy. He then played the title role in FOX's short-lived series, The Tick. He also worked as a producer for the Amazon streaming version of the series. Warburton lent his voice to numerous animated films and TV programs, including Game Over, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and The Emperor's New Groove. In 2007, he reunited with David Spade for the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement and again in 2015 for Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser. As well as his acting career, he also appeared on GSN's Poker Royale Celebrities vs the Pros tournament in 2005, winning the grand prize. Known for his deep voice, Warburton has been selected for several commercial and advertising campaigns. Off the screen, Warburton is a fan of the Los Angeles Kings hockey team and is known for his public support at multiple New Jersey Devils games.
