Phoebe Robinson, born September 28, 1984, is a renowned American comedian, New York Times best-selling writer, and an actress who is prominently based in New York City. Robinson grew up in the areas of Bedford Heights and Solon, Ohio, and received her high school education at Gilmour Academy. She further pursued her higher education at the Pratt Institute in New York City where she honed her skills in screenwriting. Her career spans across various roles and mediums. She was a staff writer for MTV's Girl Code and a consultant for the third season of Broad City. Robinson also established her name in the print media with regular contributions to Glamour and publications in The New York Times, Bitch, Vanity Fair among others. Her blog, Blaria (short for "Black Daria"), gained recognition, being featured in The Huffington Post. Alongside her print and television work, Robinson teamed up with Jessica Williams to create and co-host the 2 Dope Queens podcast and HBO series. In 2018, Robinson also held a supporting role in the comedy 'Ibiza' and launched her second book, "Everything's Trash, But It's Okay." More recently, in July 2022, she debuted her television show "Everything's Trash" on the channel Freeform.
