Ralph Ineson

**Ralph Michael Ineson**, born on 15 December 1969, is a distinguished English actor and narrator. His career kicked off in 1993 and spans to the present. Throughout his versatile acting journey, Ineson became widely recognized for his deep, rough, and distinguishable Yorkshire-accented voice cutting across different genres and media formats. His breakout role was as Chris Finch in the BBC sitcom The Office in 2001. Today, he is known for roles in mainstream cinematic production and critically acclaimed series including; William in The Witch (2015), Dagmer Cleftjaw in Game of Thrones (2012), Amycus Carrow in the Harry Potter series, Nikolai Tarakanov in Chernobyl (2019), and the title character in The Green Knight (2021). Furthermore, he lends his voice in video games such as Cid in Final Fantasy XVI (2023) and the villain Galactus in The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025). His career extends beyond the camera as he utilized his distinctive Yorkshire accent in various voice-over work including for Licence to Drill, Salvage Hunters on the Discovery Channel, the 2010 Sky TV series Inside Gatwick, and the BBC1 series Claimed and Shamed. His path to the film industry was paved with patience and persistence, after earning his theatre degree at Furness College, Lancaster University, he started out working as a security man at The Dukes, Lancaster, participating in the theatre's open-air productions of Shakespeare in Williamson Park. In the early 1990s, he taught and coached cricket at York Sixth Form College before ultimately embarking on his illustrious on-screen career.
