**Randy Randall Rudy Quaid,** an American actor and comedian, has had a dynamic career in both serious drama and light comedy. Quaid's extensive role list includes an Academy award, BAFTA and Golden Globe nominated role in _The Last Detail_ (1973) and an Emmy nominated portrayal of U.S. President Lyndon Johnson in _LBJ: The Early Years_ (1987). His acting versatility is evident in the diverse characters he has portrayed, ranging from Cousin Eddie in _National Lampoon's Vacation_ and Russell Casse in _Independence Day_ (1996) to the voice of Alameda Slim in Disney's _Home on the Range_.
