Robert Frederick Paulsen III, born on March 11, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan, is a prominent American voice actor and voice director. He gained his fame primarily through his roles in various animated television series and films. His illustrious career is marked by an Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program and three Annie Awards for his role as Yakko and Pinky in the Animaniacs franchise. Other notable roles include Hadji in The New Adventures of Jonny Quest, Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and various characters in Goof Troop and Cinderella sequels.

Having started his career in 1983, he has since worked in a multitude of roles across various platforms such as television series, films, advertisements, video games, and voice directing. Aside from his direct involvement in shows and films, Paulsen has also been a regular industry guest and featured panelist at San Diego Comic-Con and other animation industry-related events. Despite being initially diagnosed with stage III throat cancer, he has miraculously overcome it, and he actively raises donations for cancer research and supports various charities.
