Robert Reed Carradine, born on March 24, 1954, is a renowned American actor and a member of the Carradine family. His acting career proliferated as he made his initial appearances on television Western series like 'Bonanza' and 'Kung Fu', the TV series of his brother David Carradine. His first movie role came in the 1972 film 'The Cowboys', starring John Wayne and Roscoe Lee Browne. He is popularly known for personifying the character of fraternity president Lewis Skolnick in the 'Revenge of the Nerds' series of comedy films.

Born to actress and artist Sonia Sorel and actor John Carradine, Robert was raised by his stepmother after his parents divorced. During his adolescent years, he lived with his half-brother, David, in Laurel Canyon, California, where he nurtured his interests in race car driving and music. He began his film career in 1972 and his performance in 'Coming Home', a Vietnam War drama, sparked speculations about him being the finest actor in his family. In 1983, he starred in the science fiction movie 'Wavelength' and also starred in the music video for The Motels' hit song 'Suddenly Last Summer'.
