Robin Tunney

**Robin Tunney**, born June 19, 1972, is a renowned American actress who left a significant imprint on the film industry with her debut in Encino Man (1992). However, she truly carved out her niche portraying leading parts in cult films such as Empire Records(1995) and The Craft (1996). Tunney's stellar performance in Niagara, Niagara (1997) garnered her the prestigious Volpi Cup for Best Actress. Following these roles, Tunney was cast in a series of leading roles in films like End of Days (1999), Supernova, Vertical Limit (2000), Cherish, The Secret Lives of Dentists (2002), and The In-Laws (2003). Besides her celebrated roles in films, she rose to greater fame playing Veronica Donovan on Prison Break (2005–2006) and Teresa Lisbon on The Mentalist (2008–2015). Her laudable depiction of a sexual assault victim in Open Window (2006) earned widespread praise. Following this, her film portfolio expanded with roles in Hollywoodland (2006), August, The Burning Plain (2008), Passenger Side (2009), Looking Glass, and Monster Party (2018). Recently, she performed in the ABC series The Fix in 2019. Raised in Orland Park, a suburb of Chicago, Robin pursued her passion for acting from a young age. She moved to Los Angeles, where she began to land work on television series and films, even drawing significant attention with her portrayal of Sarah Bailey in horror-fantasy film The Craft, which grossed $55 million against a $15 million budget.
