Rosa Salazar

**Rosa Salazar** is an accomplished American actress renowned for her roles in several popular series and films. Born on July 16, 1985, in Washington, D.C, she began her acting journey in the NBC series *Parenthood (2011–2012)* and the FX anthology series *American Horror Story: Murder House (2011)*. Her breakthrough came in 2019 when she portrayed the title character of the film *Alita: Battle Angel*. Salazar is also recognized for starring in the series *Brand New Cherry Flavor (2021)*, which she co-produced. Additionally, she notably appeared in a variety of movies and series, including *The Divergent Series: Insurgent (2015)*, *Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015)*, *Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)*, and Amazon's series *Undone (2019–2022)*. Salazar hails from a diverse ethnic background with a Peruvian father and a French-Canadian mother.
