Rose McGowan

Rósa Arianna 'Rose' McGowan, born September 5, 1973, is an American actress and activist known for her roles in films and television shows, as well as her tireless advocacy in the #MeToo movement. She rose to prominence in the dark comedy _The Doom Generation_ (1995), earning an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Debut Performance. Later, she would be known for her breakthrough role in the horror film _Scream_ (1996) and subsequently headlined films such as _Going All the Way_ (1997), _Devil in the Flesh_ (1998), and _Jawbreaker_ (1999). In the 2000s, she gained fame on television for her role as Paige Matthews in the supernatural drama series _Charmed_. More recently, her tremendous courage in speaking out about sexual assault and harassment in Hollywood, particularly in regard to the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse cases, led Time to recognize her as one of the 'Silence Breakers', the magazine's Person of the Year in 2017.
