Sarah Bolger

Irish actress **Sarah Bolger**, born 28th February 1991, is best known for her roles in films like 'In America' (2003), 'Stormbreaker' (2006), 'The Spiderwick Chronicles' (2008), 'The Moth Diaries' (2011), 'The Lazarus Effect' (2015), 'Emelie' (2015), and 'A Good Woman Is Hard to Find' (2019). On television, she gained recognition for her portrayal of Princess Mary Tudor in 'The Tudors' (2008–2010), a role which earned her an IFTA award, and Princess Aurora in 'Once Upon a Time' (2012–2015). She also appeared on the series 'Into the Badlands' (2015–2017) and starred on 'Mayans M.C.' (2018–2023). Bolger was born in Dublin to Derek and Monica, a butcher and a housewife respectively. Growing up in the Southside suburb of Rathfarnham, Bolger later attended Loreto High School Beaufort from 2003 to 2009 and took acting classes at Ann Kavanagh's Young People's Theatre. Interestingly, her younger sister, Emma, also acted and later chose to pursue academia. Bolger's career took off with her starring alongside her sister in 'In America'. She ventured into TV with 'The Tudors' and later shined in various roles in seamlessly divergent genres like the fairy tale drama 'Once Upon A Time', the martial arts show 'Into the Badlands' and the horror film 'Emelie'.
