Scott Haze

Scott Haze, born in Dallas, Texas is an incredibly talented American actor, known for his transformative and committed roles in a variety of well-received films such as the 2013 film Child of God, Thank You for Your Service (2017), the 2021 western Old Henry and more. His dedication to each role is noteworthy, as seen in his preparation for Child of God where he lost 45 pounds and resided in caves to get in character. This particular performance helped him be recognized by Variety as one of their '10 Actors To Watch For 2013' and he was also awarded the Breakthrough Performer Of The Year at the 2013 Hamptons International Film Festival. However, Haze's abilities are not limited to acting. He also wore the hat of a director in Mully (2015), which was a powerful documentary on African humanitarian Charles Mully. His passion for theatre and drama is also evident as he envisioned, built, and founded The Sherry Theater in the North Hollywood Arts District in California in 2006, named after his mother. Also, his directorial debut, Mully, received a three-day special theatrical event by Fathom Events in 2017. Throughout his varied career, he has collaborated with influential figures in the industry like James Franco, playing significant roles in his adaptations of classic novels - As I Lay Dying and The Sound and the Fury, and even played the notorious serial killer, Charles Manson, in the adaptation of Steven Erikson's novel Zeroville.
