Sean Gunn, born May 22, 1974, is an acclaimed American actor, best recognised for his roles as Kirk Gleason in the The WB series Gilmore Girls (2000–2007) and Kraglin Obfonteri in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His Marvel career spans various hits including Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Avengers: Endgame (2019), Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023), as well as the animated series What If...? and television film The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022). Gunn also portrayed Weasel and Calendar Man in the Warner Bros./DCEU film The Suicide Squad (2021). He frequently works with his older brother, director James Gunn, appearing in many of his films. Gunn began his acting career in 1995, featuring as Sammy Capulet in the B movie Tromeo and Juliet. His big break was in Gilmore Girls, where he initially starred as a DSL cable installer, before recurring as the eccentric citizen Kirk Gleason. Parallelly, Gunn has made multiple television guest appearances and film roles, showcasing his flexible acting prowess. He also created and acted in the spoof-porn series James Gunn's PG Porn with his brothers. Gunn's voice acting skills have also been featured in video games, most notably in Warner Brother's Lollipop Chainsaw. His near future roles include reprising the role of Weasel in Creature Commandos, and portraying Maxwell Lord in Superman scheduled for 2025 .
