Steven Cree, born on 29 February 1980, is a Scottish actor known for his diverse roles in film, television, and theatre. He rose to prominence with his role as Ian Murray in the Starz television series, Outlander. His acting repertoire includes notable films such as Brave (2012), 300: Rise of an Empire (2014), Maleficent (2014), 51 Degrees North (2014), and Churchill (2017). He has also made significant strides in television, with his work in Lip Service earning him critical acclaim.

Born in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, Scotland, Cree embarked on his professional acting journey in 2001, with a guest-starring role in CBBC's weekly comedy series, G-Force.
