Tanner Buchanan

Tanner Emmanuel Buchanan, born on December 8, 1998, is a well-known American actor. He has gained prominence from a variety of popular roles on both television and in movies. One of his most notable roles is Leo Kirkman in the ABC political drama Designated Survivor. He also became a familiar face as Robby Keene in the Netflix series Cobra Kai. His acting talent isn't restricted to drama, as he also demonstrated his skills in the Nickelodeon television series Game Shakers, where he portrayed Mason Kendall. Born and raised in Lima, Ohio, he moved to Los Angeles with his family to chase his acting dream. His career started with a child role in the Modern Family series and has since bloomed, leading to diverse roles in TV shows like Grey's Anatomy, Major Crimes, and The Goldbergs among others. Buchanan's acting prowess extends beyond TV shows to movies. He made his film debut in the comedy drama Jake Squared, and continued to take on challenging roles, one of which was his first major role in the political drama series Designated Survivor. He demonstrated his range with roles in a romantic drama film such as Anything, a sci-fi thriller Max Winslow, and the House of Secrets, and even a British teen romantic comedy film How to Date Billy Walsh. His role in the sci-fi thriller Max Winslow landed him a nomination for the Best Supporting Actor at the 2019 Canadian International Faith & Family Film Festival.
