*Tanya Louise Reynolds*, an English actress, was born on 4 November 1991. She is best known for landing her first major role as a series regular on the Sky 1 comedy-drama Delicious (2016–2019), as well as her portrayal of Lily Iglehart on the Netflix comedy-drama Sex Education (2019–2023). In addition to these roles, Reynolds' credits also include parts in Outlander (2017), Death in Paradise (2017), Emma (2020), Dodger (2022), The Baby (2022), I Hate You (2022), and The Decameron (2024). In 2024, she was recognized for her talent in theatre and nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in the play A Mirror at the Trafalgar Theatre. Reynolds was born and raised in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire to a builder and a sign writer, she is of English and Italian descent. Reynolds' acting journey began at the tender age of four in a school nativity, and blossomed as she attended the Oxford School of Drama, graduating in 2015. She made her screen debut in several short films, before landing her first TV role in Delicious. Reynolds' filmography also spans both thrillers and crime dramas, including parts in the BBC thriller series Rellik, and the BBC crime drama Death in Paradise. She is also no stranger to feature films, having starred in Fanny Lye Deliver'd and a film adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma in 2020, a year in which she was recognized as one of Screen International's Stars of Tomorrow.
