Taylor Daniel Lautner (born February 11, 1992) is an accomplished American actor who became renowned for his role of Jacob Black in 'The Twilight Saga' film series (2008–2012). Lautner's acting debut was on comedy series such as 'The Bernie Mac Show' and 'My Wife and Kids' before attaining voice roles in series like 'What's New, Scooby-Doo' and 'Danny Phantom'. He subsequently featured in other productions like 'Cheaper by the Dozen 2', 'The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D', and the 2011 action film 'Abduction'. Late 2000s witnessed Lautner's transformation to a teenage idol and sex symbol, particularly his physique for playing Jacob Black that attracted media attention. In 2010, he was ranked among the topmost attractive and successful male actors.
