**Thomas Lennon** (born August 9, 1970) is a versatile American actor, screenwriter, and comedian. He has made a name for himself in popular roles like Lieutenant Jim Dangle on the series Reno 911!, Andrei Novak on Santa Clarita Diet, and Felix Unger on The Odd Couple. Lennon's remarkable screenwriting skills, along with his writing partner Robert Ben Garant, brought to life several comedies for major film studios. Together, they wrote the Night at the Museum films, The Pacifier, Balls of Fury, and Baywatch. Thomas Lennon was born on August 9, 1970, in Oak Park, Illinois. At the age of 16, he met friend and future co-star Kerri Kenney at a theater camp, and they later joined a comedy troupe at New York University. Lennon's comedy troupe eventually secured a prominent presence on MTV's 'The State'. Following its success, Lennon, with Kenney and other co-members, created and starred in the Comedy Central program _Viva Variety_ and later Reno 911!. Beyond television, Lennon also featured in numerous films such as Bad Teacher, Memento, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Transformers: Age of Extinction, and I Love You, Man. Lennon's talent extends to voice-over roles, with roles on Kim Possible, Bob's Burgers, Archer, and Planet Sheen. Also, Lennon was privy in writing and producing the 2013-17 late-night panel game show, @midnight. Despite these varied roles, Lennon returned to his Reno 911! character, Lieutenant Jim Dangel, for the 7th and 8th seasons, airing on Quibi. In addition to his acting career, Thomas Lennon is a successful screenwriter and script doctor. Most of his scripts, penned with Robert Ben Garant, have collectively earned over $1.4 billion at the worldwide box office. Apart from TV and film, Lennon has authored three young adult novels that have been well-received. Lennon resides in Los Angeles and Wisconsin with his wife, actress Jenny Robertson, and their son. He frequently performs live as a guitarist with the tribute band Sweet and Tender Hooligans, demonstrating his passion for The Smiths and Morrissey.
