Tom Rhys Harries (born 8 October 1990) is a celebrated Welsh actor. He gained notoriety for his roles as DJ Axel Collins in the Netflix series White Lines (2020) and Eddie Walker in the Apple TV+ series Suspicion (2022). Harries has also portrayed characters in recurring roles in Jekyll and Hyde (2015), Unforgotten (2018), and Britannia (2019). His film career includes appearances in Hunky Dory (2011), Slaughterhouse Rulez (2018), The Gentlemen (2019), Sisi & I (2023), Kandahar (2023), and How Kids Roll (2024). Notably, he had a guest lead role in the Doctor Who episode Dot and Bubble (2024). Born to a scriptwriter mother and head teacher father in Cardiff, Wales, he is a multitalented actor who has an Honorary Associate from The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. He is fluent in Welsh. His career in theatre has also been recognised, as he was named one of Screen International Stars of Tomorrow in 2012. He debuted on the prestigious West End stage in 2013 in Jez Butterworth's Mojo, which also featured Colin Morgan, Rupert Grint, and Ben Whishaw. In the action comedy The Gentlemen, Harries shared the screen with Colin Farrell, Hugh Grant, and Matthew McConaughey. His role as Axel Collins in White Lines was set in Ibiza during the 90s, with the series revolving around the mysterious death of his character. He continued his successful career with roles in the Apple TV+ series Suspicion and films like Sisi & I and Kandahar, showcasing his versatile acting skills.
