Tony Bennett

Known professionally as Tony Bennett, Anthony Dominick Benedetto was an American jazz and traditional pop singer, acclaimed for his contribution to the music industry. Over his career, he sold more than 50 million records globally and received numerous accolades, including 20 Grammy Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Award, and two Primetime Emmy Awards. Bennett was also been recognised as a National Endowments for the Arts Jazz Master and a Kennedy Center Honoree. He founded the prestigious Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, contributing significantly to arts education. Aside from music, he also maintained a significant career as a painter, and his artistry extended to philanthropy, seen through his active participation in numerous charitable causes. Still in high regard at the age of 95, Bennett broke the Guinness World Record for the oldest person to release an album of new material. He continued to perform until 2021, despite being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2016.
