Youki Kudoh

Youki Kudoh, born on the 17th of January, 1971, in Hachiōji, Tokyo, Japan, is a Japanese actress and singer known for her diverse roles in films and stage productions. She began her acting career during her teenage years in 1984 and continues to be actively involved in the industry. Kudoh has showcased her talent in numerous films throughout her career, earning recognition and affirmations from critics and audiences alike. Her breakthrough role came with her portrayal in The Crazy Family, which fetched her the Best Newcomer Award at the 6th Yokohama Film Festival. **Youki Kudoh** also won Best Actress awards at the 16th Hochi Film Awards and 1992 Blue Ribbon Awards for her outstanding performance in War and Youth. Besides cinema, Kudoh has also made notable appearances on stage. She played the titular character 'Kiki' in the 1993 stage production of Kiki's Delivery Service.
