Mark Steven Johnson (born October 30, 1964) is a renowned American filmmaker lauded in the cinematic front. Initiated his career penning down plots for the famous Warner Bros. films, Grumpy Old Men and its sequel Grumpier Old Men. Johnson evolved from being just a writer to a triadic skilled personality involving writing, direction, and production. Notably, he struck gold when he wrote and directed two spectacular comic book-based films, Daredevil and Ghost Rider. Venturing into different genres, he also wove the acclaimed film Simon Birch.
