Steve Pink

**Steve Pink** is an acclaimed figure in the film industry, holding multiple roles such as an actor, director, writer, producer, and filmworker. Born on February 3, 1966, he is recognized for his distinctive comedic style and lauded for directing the comedy films *Accepted* and *Hot Tub Time Machine*. Moreover, he showcased his splendid writing skills as the co-writer of the admired films, *Grosse Pointe Blank* and *High Fidelity*. An alumnus of Evanston Township High School, Columbia College Chicago, and University of California-Berkeley, Pink graduated in 1989 with a degree in Peace and Conflict Studies. He was a contemporary of renowned figures such as John Cusack, Jeremy Piven, and D.V. DeVincentis. The talented individuals, Pink, Cusack, and DeVincentis, came together to form a production company called New Crime Productions. This company produced the well-known films *Grosse Pointe Blank* and *High Fidelity*. In 2010, Steve Pink directed the hit comedy film *Hot Tub Time Machine*, followed by its sequel *Hot Tub Time Machine 2* in 2015. He also held the role of producer for the 20th Century Fox film release *Knight and Day* starring esteemed actors Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
