Agnes Bruckner

Agnes Bruckner, born August 16, 1985, is an American actress and former model. She began her acting career in television in the late 1990s and since then, has appeared in several films and TV shows. Her appearances include critically acclaimed films such as The Woods, Blue Car, and Murder by Numbers, as well as popular TV shows like Private Practice. Born to a Hungarian father and a Russian mother in Los Angeles, California, Bruckner is multilingual and speaks some Russian and is fluent in Hungarian. She was raised in various U.S. cities, from Los Angeles to Portland to Burbank.

Bruckner kick-started her acting career at the tender age of 11, with appearances in commercials and television pilots. After appearing in The Bold and the Beautiful, she landed her first leading role at only 15, in the independent film Blue Car. Her performance was highly praised and even granted her an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Female Lead. Beyond her early career, Bruckner built a successful and diverse acting portfolio, with performances in horror films like Venom and The Woods, to roles in a Lifetime movie, The Anna Nicole Story.
