Aisling Franciosi

Aisling Franciosi, born on 6 June 1993, is an acclaimed Irish actress known for her diverse roles in both film and television. Her rich career in front of the camera has spanned the genres of crime drama, period piece, and horror. Franciosi first gained recognition for her work in the RTÉ-BBC Two crime drama The Fall (2013–2016), where she held the key role of Katie Benedetto. She further expanded her reach on the small screen in 2015 with a starring role in season 2 of the TNT series Legends. Her transition into film was marked by her debut in Jimmy's Hall in 2014 and subsequently secured more substantial roles such as Lyanna Stark in the renowned HBO series, Game of Thrones. Franciosi's performance in the film The Nightingale (2018) earned her the prestigious AACTA Award. She also had roles in BBC's Clique and National Geographic television anthology Genius.
