Alexandru Potocean is a Romanian film actor born in 1984. His distinct Romanian pronunciation of his name is [alekˈsandru potoˈt͡ʃe̯an]. His career kicked off in 2005, since then he has featured in more than fifteen films. His knack for exceptionally portraying the characters he embodies in film scripts has earned him a worthy reputation in the Romanian film industry. He was born in the city of Caransebeș and had his childhood shaped by his experiences while growing up in both Timișoara and Petrila.
