What's After the Movie
C. Ernst Harth, whose real name is Cary Ernst Harth, was born on February 2, 1970. He was raised in Galt, Ontario, Canada and began his pursuit into the acting world at the young age of a kindergartner. The drama club cast the school's largest child, Cary, to play the role of Santa in their Christmas pageant. Harth continued to nourish his passion for acting through community theatre and improvisational comedy during his high school years. His serious involvement into acting didn't start until he moved to Vancouver in 1989. Interestingly, prior to landing his first professional acting gig in a TV commercial for a food chain, Harth experienced a taste of professional performance by touring the semi-pro wrestling circuit in Canada's small towns and provinces as The Bible Thumper, uniquely featuring a cross shaved on his head. Harth's journey into professional acting initiated with his debut in Green Dolphin Beat, a telefilm for Fox. His wide range of roles includes guest-starring in the black and white episode of The X-Files, playing a bodyguard named Eightball to Carmen Electra in MTV's Monster Island, wrestling with Beau Bridges in Hallmark's Voyage of the Unicorn, and appearances in other TV series like Millennium, Harsh Realm, The Dead Zone and The Outer Limits. Harth moved onto the big screen with credits such as Capsote, Are We There Yet?, Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Thir13en Ghosts, Dreamcatcher, Camouflage, Dudley Do-Right, Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball and Dead Rising: Watchtower among others. His dynamic acting experience truly attests to his dedication and talent in the industry.
