Christopher Mintz-Plasse

**Christopher Charles Mintz-Plasse** is an American actor synonymous with his performances in comedy films. Mintz-Plasse gained prominence with his role as Fogell / McLovin in the comedy film _Superbad_ (2007), followed by other major roles such as Augie Farcques in _Role Models_ (2008), and Chris D'Amico in _Kick-Ass_ (2010) and its sequel _Kick-Ass 2_ (2013). He also played the character of "Evil" Ed Lee in the 2011 remake of _Fright Night_. Notably, Mintz-Plasse has also provided his voice in popular animated franchises such as _How to Train Your Dragon_ (2010–2019), where he voiced for Fishlegs Ingerman, and in the _Trolls_ franchise (2016–2023) as King Gristle Jr. Born in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, Mintz-Plasse attended the El Camino Real High School, where he participated in the school’s improv comedy team. His debut in the film industry was highlighted by his audition for _Superbad_ using a headshot taken with his camera phone due to lack of professional ones. His portrayal of Fogell was a resounding success, earning him critical praise and an MTV Movie Award nomination for Best Breakthrough Performance. His career further solidified with significant roles in films like _Role Models_, _Year One_, and _Kick-Ass_. An interesting highlight of his career was his role in _Fright Night_, a remake which he initially hesitated to accept but gave after seeing the quality of the script.
