Corey Stoll

**Corey Daniel Stoll**, best known for his distinguished roles in a variety of popular TV series and films, was born on March 14, 1976, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. He made waves with his performance as Congressman Peter Russo on the Netflix political thriller series House of Cards from 2013–2016, earning him a Golden Globe nomination in 2013. His other notable role as Dr. Ephraim Goodweather on the FX horror drama series The Strain from 2014–2017 added to his on-screen presence and heightened his recognition as a compelling actor. He also showcased his acting prowess in the Showtime series Billions, playing business competitor Michael Prince. Furthermore, he was regularly featured on the NBC drama series Law & Order: LA. However, his acting achievements were not limited to TV series. His character Darren Cross, or Yellowjacket, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Ant-Man and its sequel expanded his reach towards comic book movie fans. His portrayal of Ernest Hemingway in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris earned him a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male. Other films and plays in his expansive career include Black Mass, First Man, The Seagull, The Many Saints of Newark, West Side Story, Intimate Apparel, and Appropriate.
