Daniel Henshall

Daniel Edwin Henshall, born 9 August 1982, is a distinguished Australian actor. His acting debut took place in the film 'Snowtown' (2011), earning him an AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Since then, Henshall has delivered star-studded performances in movies like 'The Babadook' (2014), 'Okja' (2017), 'Acute Misfortune' (2018), and 'Catch the Fair One' (2021). Born and bred in Sydney, Australia, he is the youngest of three children. Henshall finished his studies from the full time acting program at Actors Centre Australia in 2006.

His first major acting gig was in the short-lived BBC soap 'Out of the Blue' (2008), portraying the character, Adam 'Ado' O'Donnell. Snowtown' (2011), saw him play the chilling role of real-life serial killer, John Bunting, leading to high praise. He has also played co-lead in the AMC series Turn: Washington's Spies (2014–2017). Henshall continued to land exciting roles, such as his performance as 'Blonde' in 'Okja' (2017), directed by Oscar-winning Director Bong Joon-ho, and the white supremacist 'Slayer' in 'Skin' (2018). His role as Archibald Prize-winning artist Adam Cullen in 'Acute Misfortune' (2019) garnered critical acclaim. His most recent performances include roles in 'Defending Jacob' (2020) on Apple TV+ and Netflix series 'Clickbait' (2021).
