Dean Joseph Norris, born on April 8, 1963, is a notable American actor. Norris is best recognized for his roles as Hank Schrader on the acclaimed AMC series Breaking Bad (2008–2013), James 'Big Jim' Rennie on CBS's Under the Dome (2013–2015), and as Clay 'Uncle Daddy' Husser on TNT's Claws (2017–2022). Over the course of his career, he has racked up an impressive 150 plus credits in film and television.

Norris's filmography includes significant roles in films like Lethal Weapon 2 (1989), Total Recall (1990), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), and Little Miss Sunshine (2006). He was born in South Bend, Indiana, to a Hungarian family. He participated in the award-winning student-produced comedy show Beyond Our Control during his high school years. Norris graduated from Harvard College in 1985, studying Social Studies and being involved in Hasty Pudding Theatricals. He earned a diploma from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1987.
