Deborah Kerr

Deborah Jane Trimmer CBE, known professionally as Deborah Kerr, was a talented British actress. Born on September 30, 1921, in Hillhead, Glasgow, she had a fruitful international film career with several notable roles. Having been nominated six times for the Academy Award for Best Actress, Kerr became the first person from Scotland to be nominated for an acting Oscar.
