Ed Parker Helms (born January 24, 1974) is a charismatic American comedian and actor who notably starred in the hit NBC sitcom The Office (2006–2013) as the quirky paper salesman Andy Bernard. His career skyrocketed when he joined The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as a correspondent from 2002 to 2006. He saw further success with a leading role in the comedy powerhouse The Hangover trilogy, portraying the unforgettable character, Stuart Price. Helms expanded his versatile acting skills to additional comedic and dramatic films such as Cedar Rapids, We're the Millers, not forgetting the satirical The Fake News with Ted Nelms for which he bagged a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Writing for a Comedy or Variety Special in 2018.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Helms found his voice in the world of comedy and acting after graduating from Oberlin College with a BA in film theory and technology. He initiated his career performing with New York City sketch comedy bands and soon gained footing as an exceptional talent. Helms has lent his distinctive voice to popular animated films such as Everyone's Hero, Monsters vs. Aliens, The Lorax, and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie amongst others. Ed Helms also co-wrote and starred in the comedy series Rutherford Falls (2021–2022). Incredibly dynamic, Ed distinguishes himself by his ability to blend seamless versatility in drama, impeccable comedic timing, and an underlined dedication that spans his career, earning him six Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.
