Born in Detroit, Michigan, she is the oldest of four siblings. Hollman, in her early years, moved to Troy, Michigan, and made a name for herself as an all-star track runner. She held the Michigan State University record for the women's long jump showing prowess in areas beyond acting as well. In 2008, displaying her entrepreneurial skills and philanthropic spirit, Hollman became the CEO and founder of a non-profit charity called Visual Impact Now.
