Born on October 18, 1998, she ventured into the industry from a young age, starting her career as a model when she was merely six, represented by Ford Models. By the time she was seven, Emily was already displaying her acting craft in television commercials. Her first experience with a live audience was when she was featured on Saturday Night Live at the tender age of eight. Throughout her growing years, she made eight appearances on the show marking her dedication and passion to her art.

In 2010, Emily made her off-Broadway debut in Horton Foote's The Orphans' Home Cycle, cementing her prowess with her performances as Lily Dale, Molly, and Irma Sue. Apart from her theater work, Emily amassed substantial television credits which include her phenomenal performances in Transparent, Rizzoli & Isles, Criminal Minds, Scorpion, The Following, and more. She was not just confined to acting but unveiled her directorial and writing skills when she wrote, directed, and starred in the short film, 'Virgin Territory' at the age of 17. Emily further extended her acting portfolio with roles in film projects like Once Upon a Time in Venice and Dark Was The Night. She starred in the short film, Oleander which went on to win Best Director for Short Film at The Method Fest. Emily studied creative writing at Columbia University, adding an academic feather to her cap when she graduated in 2020.
