Eoin Macken

**Eoin Christopher Macken** is an greatly talented Irish actor, director, and model born on 21st February 1983. He commenced his diverse career in the glamour industry during his university days, grabbing attention at a fashion show. He soon joined Morgan the Agency and became the face of many eminent brands like Abercrombie and Fitch, Ralph Lauren, and posed for GQ. Macken's acting career took flight with roles in films like Resident Evil, Close, Killing Jesus, and Centurion. His TV appearances include RTÉ's Fair City and BBC's Merlin. He also made his mark on popular American television shows, impressing viewers as T. C. Callahan on NBC's The Night Shift and Karl D'Branin on Netflix's Nightflyers. As of 2021, he leads the pack in NBC's drama, La Brea. Apart from his thriving acting career, Macken explored the world behind the camera, directing several feature films and a documentary on fashion. His most notable works in directing include Christian Blake, Dreaming for You, The Inside, Cold, Here Are the Young Men, and The Fashion of Modelling. His first major film role came in the form of Studs in 2005, leading to an appearance in Fair City in 2008. Demonstrating his storytelling abilities, he wrote, directed, and starred in his second feature film Dreaming For You, which made it to the 2007 Los Angeles Short Film Festival and the 2009 Galway Film Fleadh. From 2010-2012, he played a fan-favorite role in the series Merlin, followed by starring role in the film Cold. His ability to adapt to mediums saw him transform Rob Doyle's novel into the screenplay of Here Are the Young Men, which he also directed.
