Happy Anderson (born November 19, 1976) is a highly acclaimed American actor. He has showcased his versatile acting ability in various mediums including film, television, and on and off Broadway. He is widely recognized for his notable roles as Mr. James 'Jimmy' Fester on Cinemax's The Knick, and Jerry Brudos on the Netflix series Mindhunter, from executive producer/director David Fincher.

Born in High Falls, New York, Anderson embarked on his journey towards acting during his school days. After graduating from Rondout Valley High School in 1995, he pursued higher studies in the field of arts. Anderson obtained a bachelor of fine arts degree from Ithaca College in 1999, where he studied alongside notable personalities like Larry Teng, Kevin Deiboldt, Ben Wilson and Brantley Aufill. Continuing to refine his craft, he further graduated with a master's degree of fine arts from Indiana University Bloomington in 2002. Following his graduation, he ventured to the acting mecca of New York City in 2003. He has been active in the industry from 1999 to present, delivering memorable performances across platforms. His theater experience is extensive, ranging from performances at the Shakespeare in the Park to Broadway.
